Jett Industries Inc. (Jett - Contractor) is assembling a bid for Contract No. RFB-RC-SWR-2023-04 - WWTP Sludge Thickeners Upgrade Project in Orangeburg, NY with The Rockland County Sewer District No. 1 (RCSD - Owner) and extends this Request for Quotes (RFQ) to all firms (Bidder) to provide labor, materials, and/or equipment for the Project as described in these bid packages.

· Access to Bid Documents
Project and Scope specific documents will be posted to the FILES tab of Building Connected.

· Issuance of Addenda by RCSD
KIC will upload addenda to Building Connected internet site as received by the owner. A notification through Building Connected will be sent to Bidders. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of addenda in writing on Bid Proposal form or their quote.

· Requests for Clarification
Any Bidder, no later than the date posted on the Project Information Page, may submit questions for interpretation or clarification of, or addenda to, this Bid. All requests must be submitted in writing and sent by email or as a message through Building Connected

· M/WBE Goal:
This project has a New York State certified 10% MBE participation goal and a 6% WBE participation goal. Jett encourages minority and women business enterprise (M/WBE) firms to quote our projects, as well as subcontractors and materials suppliers who contract with our firm to utilize MWBE subcontractors and vendors for work to be performed.

· The Project includes the following Work:
1. Replacement of four (4) gravity thickener equipment including, but not limited to, mechanisms, motors, drives, catwalks, railings, and weirs.
2. Replace thickener feed piping internal to thickener tanks.
3. Replace four (4) distribution box slide gates.
4. Furnish and install ten (10) magnetic flow meters: two (2) A-Side primary sludge, two (2) A-Side secondary sludge, one (1) A-Side dilution water, two (2) B-Side primary sludge, two (2) B-Side secondary sludge, one (1) B-Side dilution water.
5. Furnish and install B-Side overflow modifications.
6. Furnish and install B-Side thickener bypass connection pipping and valving, including modifications to A-Side distribution box.
7. Furnish and install digester bypass piping and valving in the digester building.
8. Miscellaneous concrete repairs.
9. Replacement of electrical components for four (4) gravity thickeners.
10. Furnish new lighting for the thickeners.
11. Furnish instrumentation wiring for new flow meters.
12. Architectural and structural modifications.

The Bidder will be required to quote in compliance with all project plans and specifications. Non-Disclosure Agreements are provided when applicable. Addenda is posted and notification is sent to all invited bidders.

Insurance Requirements
Upon award, Subcontractors must provide insurance in accordance with our subcontract agreement. A copy of the subcontractor agreement can be found in Building Connected Project Plan Room.

Bonding Requirements
For subcontracts the Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds equal to the full subcontract price. For Material Contracts, the bidder shall furnish Supply Bonds in amount equal to full Material Contract price. Bond premiums are reimbursable by Kiewit/Mass. Electric Construction Co. Jett Industries Inc.
