Project Details

We are soliciting quotes for aggregate suppliers, ready mix concrete suppliers, fencing suppliers, HMA suppliers, demolition contractors, grading contractors, underground utilities contractors, concrete contractors, steel erectors/building installers, fencing subcontractors, striping and sign contractors, lighting/electrical contractors, surveyors, street sweeping, and trucking.

This scope of the project consists of erecting a new sheet metal barn for the AG students to raise livestock. It includes installing all drainage and septic treatment as well as electrical.

Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Every Subcontractor is required to be registered with the State DIR to perform public work. Subcontractors must be prepared to furnish payment and performance bonds issued by a California admitted surety that is acceptable to Martin General Engineering (MGE). MGE will reimburse the Subcontractor for the premium costs of the bonds at standard premium rates not to exceed 1.5%. The Subcontractor must possess current general commercial liability insurance and workers compensation insurance per Owner’s requirements. MGE’s listing of a subcontractor in its bid to the public agency is not to be construed as an acceptance of all the Subcontractor’s conditions or exceptions included with Subcontractor’s price quotes.


MGE is signatory to the following unions: Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons.
