WE ARE REQUESTING QUOTATIONS FROM ALL QUALIFIED SUBCONTRACTORS INCLUDING SMALL BUSINESSES, WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES, VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES, AND DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES
FOR THE FOLLOWING SCOPES OF WORK:
Structural Steel/Metal Decking, Roofing/Waterproofing, Expansion Joints, Exterior/Interior Glazing,
Framing and Drywall, Doors Frames and Hardware, and Overhead Doors (Specialized Openings)
The Plant Science and Animal Health project is a public works project with a combined Project value of ~$63,000,000. It consists of two (2) separate structures on two (2) sites on the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo campus.
The Plant Sciences Building will consist of an approximately 20,000 GSF (new construction) one-story laboratory building, and site improvements. Exterior/Interior Glazing, Framing and Drywall, Doors Frames and Hardware and Overhead Doors are included as the scope for this building.
The Animal Health Center will consist of an approximately 17,000 GSF (new construction) one-story building which will accommodate instructional, clinical, support spaces, and site improvements. Structural Steel, Metal Decking, Roofing, Waterproofing, Expansion Joints, Exterior/Interior Glazing, Framing and Drywall, Doors Frames and Hardware and Specialized Openings (Horse Stall Doors) are included as the scope for this building.
Plans, specifications, and any other pertinent bidding documents will be available electronically on the Building Connected Website the week of October 07, 2024. Contact Susan Samimi at our office number above to be added to the Building Connected solicitation for the project.
Construction for these scopes will begin in early January 2024.
100% Payment and Performance Bonds are required for amounts over $100,000. Any subcontractor that cannot provide Payment and Performance Bonds for this project can contact our office at 925-494-9700 to discuss available options. Workers’ Compensation and Waiver of Subrogation will be required by all Subcontractors.
