Project Description:
In general, work consists of constructing a new PFAS treatment facility for Well 21-1 prior to entering Park Ridge’s potable water system that includes the following: Construction of a new 40’ x 26’ treatment building and associated site work, piping, valves, and appurtenances. Furnishing and installing treatment vessels, interior process piping, a chlorination system, an E-1 wastewater pumping station and force main, an exterior standby generator, building electrical work, onsite stormwater modifications and additions, seepage pits, subsurface DIP water main piping and chlorine contact chamber, subsurface DIP raw water main piping to Well 21-1 including furnishing and installing a new well pump and motor, and pitless adapter offsite. Other offsite improvements include relocation of an existing water main, new sanitary sewer extension, and manholes, 1-1/4” force main, storm sewer relocation, and grading & paving work.
