The Work of this Contract generally includes the following: Decommission, remove, dispose, upgrade, and/or replace elements of the Washington Height Substation’s traction power equipment, including switchgears, transformers, rectifiers, DC breakers, and other systems. Furnish and install Property Line Boxes for high- and low-tension service lines from Con Edison. Furnish and install positive and negative feeder cables, control cables, battery cables, and other cables, and extend and connect positive and negative feeder cables from the Substation to Circuit Breaker Houses and third rail. Replace Remote Terminal Unit with Programmable Logic Cabinet and Digital Input and Output Cabinet for the substation’s elements of the SCADA system. Refurbish existing crew facilities including bathroom and crew quarters, and new staircase. Refurbish overhead equipment crane and upgrade crane controls.

Project solicitation needs include, but are not limited to the following scope:
CPM scheduling, survey, progress photo & video, door supply, concrete supply, rebar supply and installation, furnish & install miscellaneous metals and structural steel, and painting.
