Project includes bridge replacement at the South Fork Weber Creek (Bridge No. 25C0033, PM 4.4), widening improvements with horizontal and vertical realignment of Newtown Road at each bridge approach side, safety railing, improvements to roadway drainage and retaining walls. Other items or details not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed or installed. This Project has a 20% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goal (Caltrans).

Westcon is seeking sub bids for all aspects of work on this project and we are willing to break out portions of the various listed items to ensure DBE participation. Westcon Construction Corp. is an Open Shop Company and we will accept quotes from Union & Non-Union companies. We are available to assist in quantity take-off, scope interpretation and bonding. Bonding requirements may be waived depending on value and complexity of work to encourage DBE Participation.
