We are seeking certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) firms interested in performing the following types of work: ENVIRONMENTAL, GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING, SURVEY, LANDSCAPE DESIGN, TRAIL DESIGN, RIGHT OF WAY ENGINEERING, COMMUNITY OUTREACH, LIGHTING, and PUBLIC WORKS CIVIL DESIGN SERVICES.

Project Description: The proposed South Forbes Road/Oso Creek Trail Active Transportation Improvements is located within the City of Laguna Niguel 2011 Gateway Specific Plan project area. The project is comprised of three portions southerly of Crown Valley Parkway: 380-feet of sidewalk gap closure along the easterly side of Forbes Road; 3,100-feet of trail extension of the Oso Creek off-street (Class I) paved trail and decomposed granite path beginning near the Metrolink Station on the easterly side of Oso Creek to an at-grade 10’ wide pedestrian bridge crossing of Oso Creek (constructed by others) at approximately 200 feet north of the Paseo de Colinas overpass. The trail extension continues on the westerly side of Oso Creek to the southern City boundary near Rancho Capistrano Road (City of San Juan Capistrano); and intersection improvements at the Forbes Road cul-de-sac, including ADA curb ramps, an east-west pedestrian crosswalk and traffic control.
