The contract is for Construction of a new Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at Francis S. Gabreski Airport, followed by the demolition of the pre-existing tower. New 8-story ATCT with 693sqft on each floor. Other various attributes include fire pump, training room, manager’s office, breakroom, restrooms, elevator, stairway and a 9th floor control cab for four occupants. The tower is precast concrete wall and floor panels with the cab level constructed of steel on the ground and flown into place.

A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) is in place, which requires the use of union labor. Subcontractors are required to carry insurance as set forth in the project manual. Please provide bonding capacity letter in conjunction with your pricing proposal.
