Project Details

SnL Group, Inc. is seeking quotes from Subcontractors, Vendors and Material Providers including all certified DBE for the following items of work, but not limited to: aggregates, water main pipe, valves, meter, hydrants, media filters, and appurtenances, traffic control, electrical & mechanics, concrete, survey, WPCP, HDD boring, welded water storage reservoir, asphalt paving, excavating, trenching, grading, and trucking.

Scope of work: replacing existing services with metered services, locate missing services, replacing old pipeline, construction of new 66,000-gallon welded steel storage reservoir, treatment plant upgrades & misc. other water system items.

Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Redding, CA. They can also be viewed and downloaded online at Shasta Builders Exchange or the E&S Engineer & Surveyors office in Yreka, CA.

Wage Requirements: This project is funded in part by the State Revolving Fund (SRF), and as such a labor compliance program (LCP) in accordance with California Labor Compliance Code Section 1771.8 must be adopted and enforced. Additionally, SRF requires payment of federal prevailing wages, specifically, Davis-Bacon Act wage rules apply to all assistance agreements made in whole or in part with SRF funds. State Prevailing Wage Rates can be obtained from www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR/PWD/.

Each subcontractor must submit proof of current DIR Registration when submitting a quote.

Insurance Requirements: each subcontractor must submit proof of work comp insurance and obtain work comp throughout the completion of the project.

Requirements: by submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. SnL's written subcontract documents execution is required of all successful subcontract bids.

This project requires "American Iron and Steel" (AIS) certification of material.

Under the DBE Program, entities can no longer self-certify and contractors and sub-contractors must be certified at bid opening. Contractors and sub-contractors must provide to the CASRF recipient proof of DBE certification. Certifications will be accepted from the following:
• The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) • The Small Business Administration(SBA) • The Department of Transportation’s State implemented DBE Certification Program (with U.S. citizenship) • Tribal, State and Local governments • Independent private organization certifications.
