Engelke Construction, Inc is requesting quotes from all DVBE Subcontractors and Suppliers including but not limited to Saw Cutting, Paving, Temp. Fencing, Pipe, Demolition, Concrete, Landscaping, Utility Location, Equipment Transport, Trucking.

Services Needed: Engelke Construction, Inc. an equal opportunity employer, is requesting qualified DVBE subcontractors, suppliers, truckers, and consultants to submit bids for your trade for your trade specialty for the project listed below. Your firm must be currently certified as a DVBE firm with an agency acceptable to St Helena unified School District. PLEASE SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR CERTIFICATION, COONTRACTOR LICENSE NUMBER and DIR REGISTRATION NUMBER WITH YOUR BID.
Requirements: Bids may be either faxed or emailed. Please make sure that prior to bid time your quotation is received by our company. Scope letter should be submitted the day before bid date.
Bonds may be required: 100% Performance and 100% Payment for the full amount of the subcontractor's price. Surety companies will have to approved by Engelke Construction. Engelke Construction may pay bond premium up to 1-1/2% of subcontractor's price.
Engelke Construction is signatory to Laborers Local 324 and Operating Engineers Local 3. All subcontractors will be bound by the terms of the master agreements of these unions.
Engelke Construction, Inc's listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor's conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor's bid proposal. Quotations must be valid for the same duration specified by the owner for award. Engelke Construction is relying on the subcontractor's price submitted to be all-inclusive for their trade scope contained in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in their proposal.
Plans and specifications may be obtained through local plan rooms, builder's exchanges, CMD, as well as trade publication such as the North Coast Builder's Exchange or Daily Pacific Builder.
