Obayashi Corporation is requesting pricing from certified and qualified MBE, WBE, African American, Hispanic, and Asian/Native American subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and truckers for the City of Austin McNeil Drive Water Transmission Main. Please review MBE/WBE requirements.

The project components include a new construction of 8,500 LF of two-pass tunnel with a minimum excavated diameter of 9FT with 6FT Carrier Pipe (WSP or PCCP) with cellular grout annulus backfill. Two shafts 54VF & 40VF both with riser pipes and concrete vaults connecting into existing lines. A total of 650 LF of open-cut pipe installation ranging from 36” to 66” diameter and miscellaneous valving. One off-site connection referred to as Melrose Trail consists of 27LF of 12” water main and valving.
