Allen Gill Construction Inc. is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) for the Elliot Road Mains Replacement Project. Sealed proposals will be received by the Paradise Irrigation District addressed to Georgeanna Borrayo at 6332 Clark Road. Paradise, Ca. 95969 until 1:00 p.m. local time Wednesday, February 05, 2025. The project is located within the Paradise Irrigation District and consists of sitework, clearing and grubbing as well as, installation of 4,570 feet of 6" C-900 water main, 35 feet of 8" C-900 water main, 4,570 feet of 12" C-900 water main and all tie ins. Abandonment of 475 feet of 6" water main by cutting and plugging. Abandonment of 4,655 feet of existing 8" and 12" water main by sand blowing. Installation of inline valves, ARV's and blow offs. Reinstallation of 7 existing fire hydrants. Installing or reconnection of 58 services. Installing or reconnection meter boxes and asphalt/concrete surface restoration. We will work with interested DBEs to create custom scopes of work/supply to meet their particular needs. We will encourage a consortium of DBEs when any particular item(s) of interest are too large for one DBE firm to handle individually. We will work with interested DBEs to divide total requirements into economically feasible, smaller tasks or quantities to permit maxim um DBEs participation.
