Project Description: THIS PROJECT IS FOR THE UPGRADE AND IMPROVEMENTS TO METRO NORTH’S TRACK STORAGE YARD AND MAINTENANCE FACILITY BUILDING ** MAINT SHOP & OFFICE RENOVATIONS - UPGRADES TO THE EXISTING 3-STORY 42,000 SF BUILDING, KEEPING WORK AREAS IN SERVICE 24/7. INCLUDES STRUCTURAL STEEL UPGRADES, HVAC, ELECTRICAL, SECURITY SYSTEMS, LIGHTING, PLUMBING, ROOFING, CEILING, TILE, LOCKERS, BATHRROMS, ETC

** SITEWORK - TO BE PERFORMED ALONG THE EXISTING NORTH CORRIDOR TRACKS AND YARD STORAGE TRACKS CONSISTING OF TREE CLEARING, RETAINING WALL DEMO, EARTHWORK & GRADING, SUPPORT OF EXCAVATION, MICROPILE FOR RET WALLS, CONC IN RETAINING WALLS, REINFORCING STEEL, SANITARY SEWER PIPING, WATER SUPPLY PIPING, STORM DRAINAGE, BITUMINOUS MILLING & RESURFACING, BITUMINOUS YARD SERVICE ROADS, CHAINLINK FENCING, SITE ELECTRICAL AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

- The Contractor is hereby advised to comply with both the FTA Buy America Act (BAA) and the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) as required by Form 819 Section 1.20-1.06.01
- All personnel working within twenty-five (25) feet of the centerline of the track or energized wires, must undergo a Railroad safety training class, of approximately one hour, offered online by Metro-North Railroad, renewed annually. https://contractororientation.com/
