Scope of Work: interior, non-structural demolition and remodel of the district offices. Scope for this project is confined to the first floor renovations (see green highlighted areas on floor plan), with minor access needed at second floor for piping, and minor work at roof for mechanical equipment servicing first floor area. Scope includes hazardous materials/lead paint abatement in work area.

OWNER/GC PROVIDED ITEMS (SUBCONTRACTOR TO INSTALL): All associated heat pumps, fan coils, hollow metal frames, wood doors, associated door hardware, lighting, lighting controls, electrical panels, transformers, and wall graphics for area of work.

Proposals must be submitted via Building Connected or they will NOT be accepted.
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (including C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46) must be prequalified with the district in order to bid this project. You can submit your prequalification to the district within 10 days of bid date.
Buhler Commercial is signatory to the Carpenters and Labors Union
This is a prevailing wage project.
All subcontractors must be registered with the DIR at time of bid submission.
Subcontractor must be properly licensed by California Contractors State License Board to submit a proposal
Subcontracts will be awarded on Best Value Criteria outlined in the information for bidders section.
When submitting a bid proposal be sure to acknowledge the projects bid documents (drawing, specifications, addenda, etc.)
All subcontractors are responsible for their own parking.
Subcontractor and its subcontractors are required to comply with CEC 17407.5 and PCC Section 2600 et seq. with respect to a skilled and trained workforce.
Buhler Commercial requires subcontractors awarded on this project to provide Payment and Performance Bonds from a subcontractor's expense for any contract that exceeds $300,000.
Buhler Commercial strongly encourages participation from Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) in this project. The minimum established DVBE goal for this project is 3%.
