HEI is soliciting the following: trucking subcontractors, aggregate vendors/haulers, clearing subcontractors, surveyors, pipe suppliers, etc.

HEI is bidding on the following scopes of work.

HEI's proposal is due to the CMAR/Owner on Wednesday April 9th, 2025 at 2:00pm, please have your quotes submitted by Tuesday April 8th.

Bid Package 01 50 00 - Temporary Facilities and Controls

1. Vendor to supply and install the following:
a. Temporary Access Roads
b. Construction Laydown Yard
c. Temporary Security Fence

2. Temporary Access Roads
a. Subcontractor to grade, moisture condition, compact, and prep subgrade for temporary construction access roads.
b. Subcontractor to install, grade, compact, and properly slope temporary construction road with minimum 6” road base as shown on the site logistics plan.

3. Construction Laydown Yard
a. Subcontractor to grade, moisture condition, compact, and prep subgrade for temporary construction laydown yards as indicated on the site logistics plan.
b. Subcontractor to install, grade, compact, and properly slope temporary construction laydown yards with minimum 6” road base as shown on the site logistics plan.

4. Temporary Security Fence (Approx. 3600 LF w/ (1 EA) 20' Double Gate)
a. Subcontractor to supply and install the temporary construction security fence in accordance with the contract documents, including the temporary construction site logistics plan.
b. Temporary construction security fence to be post driven with minimum three strand barbed wire at the top of the security fence.
c. Drive-through gates and walk-through man gates where shown on the site plans. Gates shall be provided with reinforcing/hinges and wheels for opening and closing, along with acceptable latching mechanism for securely locking gate. Standard fence panels with non-driven post will not be acceptable for access gates.
d. Subcontractor to include 42 months of temporary fence rental.
e. Temporary fence supplier shall understand that length of project will result in wear and tear of fence panels. CMAR will not be responsible for excess repair/replacement cost of fence panels unless explicitly damaged by CMAR during the course of the project.

Bid Package 31 00 00 - Site Setup and Improvements

1. Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and Control Measures
a. Subcontractor shall set up all temporary SWPPP erosion control systems including, but not limited to, silt fence, straw waddles, stabilized construction entrances and trackout systems, storm drain filters, and all appurtenances for a complete system.
b. Subcontractor to perform all required SWPPP inspections at required intervals and immediately following any rain events. Inspections to be performed by certified inspector if required.

2. Clear and Grub
a. Subcontractor to complete all clear and grub of new water treatment plant site as indicated on the drawings.
b. All cleared materials shall be properly disposed of offsite.

3. Site Cut and Fill (Prep for Excavation)
a. Subcontractor to perform all cut/fill operations to grade the site within +/- 0.10 of final site grades. All excess spoils shall be transported to a designated location onsite, spread, compacted, and stabilized. Estimated ~21,000 CY cut, and ~15,000 CY fill.

4. Construction Entrance
a. Subcontractor to grade, prep subgrade, compact, and install temporary construction access point as indicated in the contract drawings and site logistics plan.

5. 12” Potable Water Line (Permanent line to supply temporary facilities
a. Subcontractor to perform all trenching, bedding, piping installation, tracer wire/locating tape, backfill, and final grading of new 12” potable water line to supply temporary facilities.
