South Tahoe Public Utility District �" Bijou 1 Waterline Replacement Project, South Lake Tahoe, CA. is located in two neighborhoods in the City of South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, California. The first is the residential neighborhood between Deer Park Ave and Cape Horn Road and the second is the mixed commercial and residential neighborhood between Treehaven Drive and Sandy Way. The work to be performed consists of the installation of approximately 6,500 linear feet of 8-inch water main, 130 water services, 20 fire hydrants, 7 water main tie-ins, and performance of traffic and erosion control, abandonment of existing water facilities, site restoration, and asphalt concrete paving. Vinciguerra Construction, Inc. is seeking quotes for all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE, UDBE, WBE, MBE, SBE Firms for the following items of work included but not limited to: Erosion Control/Revegetation Materials furnish & placement, Surveying, SWPPP, Dewatering, Waterworks Supplies & Appurtenances (Water Main Piping, Pipe Fitting’s, Gate Valves, Valve Boxes, Fire Hydrants, and Water Service Valves), Sheeting, Shoring, & Bracing, Traffic Control, Construction Area Signs, Excavation/Earth Work, Sawcutting, Asphalt Milling, Asphalt Concrete; furnish & placement, Aggregate Base; furnish & placement, Import Soil; furnish & Placement, Concrete; furnish & placement, Pavement Striping, and Trucking. Our firm will consider dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by DBE's in the competitive process. Our company will also consider consortium of DBE's should a contract be too large for firms to handle individually.
