BCU is soliciting all local DBE Union Vertical Boring Drillers for the NYCDEP PS-QNS-2 Project.

Project Scope:

Site: Little Neck
• Conduct six (6) soil borings down to 40 feet below ground (ft bg).

Site: Linden Place
• Install two (2) temporary wells down to 20 ft bg.
• Conduct eight (8) soil borings down to 45 ft bg.

Site: Park Drive East
• Install two (2) temporary wells down to 32 ft bg.
• Conduct 5 soil borings down to 45 ft bg.

Timeline and Specifications

We aim to mobilize as soon as possible, adhering to our requirement for a 60-day notification period prior to the start of any drilling activities. Please note that Linden Place will be the last site to undergo drilling due to pending MPT permits. Since this site is located between two schools, we will need to adjust the start and end times in compliance with permit requirements ; please take this into account when developing your schedule and quote.

Our soil sampling plans are currently under revision, and we will provide the updated documentation once finalized. Additionally, as this project involves soil classification for disposal, we anticipate that drumming and disposal of the soil will be required, rather than backfilling, upon completion of drilling operations.
