The project consists of demolition and construction necessary for the modernization of the existing Laney
Theater Building inclusive of the following: extensive modifications for accessibility; a glass curtain wall;
lobby extension with new elevator; expanded restrooms/amenities; a new north lobby and entry; upgrades to the
300-seat auditorium, technical theater, and AV systems; upgrades to existing classrooms, visual and sound labs;
and replacement of the existing mechanical systems.
