DBE Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: demolition of the existing bridge structure over the DWR aqueduct on Ranchero Road and construction of a new bridge over the same, along with reconstruction of the road between the boundaries of the existing new pavement and construction of a new cul-de-sac, construction of drainage improvements, water main line installation and construction of retaining walls. Scope of the work: Unclassified Excavation, Bridge Removal, Imported Borrow, Clearing and Grubbing, Earthwork, Grind Existing Asphalt Pavement, Structure Excavation, Structure Backfill, Removal of Asphalt Concrete, Removal of Existing Aggregate Base, Grading, Asphalt Concrete Pavement Base Course, Asphalt Concrete, Rubber Hot Mix Surface Course, Aggregate Base, Roadway Striping, Hydroseeding, HMA Dike, Minor Concrete Curb and Gutter, Concrete Barrier, Metal Beam Guard Railing, Chain Link Fencing, Tubular Gates, Masonry Walls, Installation / Erection of Precast Girders, CIDH Pile Installation, Joint Sealing, Bar Reinforcing Steel, Retaining Wall Installation, Water Pipeline Installation, Abandonment of existing Water Pipeline, Replacement of Water Services, Traffic Control, Signage, Strom Water Pollution Prevention, Rock Slope Protection, and other work and materials normally associated with expansion of roadways and Bridge Structures. Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to breakdown items into economical feasible packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum DBE participation.
Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values. Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item. Also, let us know if you need assistance in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance or services for this project. Please contact us for more information. Ames’ Subcontract terms and conditions will apply to any contracts resulting from this request. The Subcontractor, by submission of its bid, agrees to the “Terms and Conditions” including all Exhibits and Attachments of Ames Subcontract Agreement.
