Project Details

Mass. Electric Construction Company (MEC) is assembling a team to respond to the invitation for bids issued by the Los Angeles County Metro Transportation Authority (LACMTA) to provide Furnish, Install and Commissioning services for the Metro A & B Lines Communication Transmission System (CTS) Upgrade Project.

The project will involve furnishing materials, installation, testing and commissioning Fiber Optic Cables (CTS) system for network connectivity along A Line South (Metro Blue Line), B Line Seg-1, Union Station Gateway (USG) building and MCP (New Security Center).

MEC is actively soliciting bids from firms interested in subcontractor / supplier opportunities on the Project (upon award to MEC). Bids due to MEC April 28, 2025 by 12pm PDT.

Anticipated opportunities include (but are not limited to): *
Vendor/Supplier: Fiber Connectivity Materials, Microduct, Microfiber, PVC Conduit, Rigid Conduit

Subcontractor: Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)

*Contract opportunities are contingent upon project award to MEC.
