FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from all certified MBE and WBE firms for the following items of work including but not limited to: Traffic Control System, Construction Staking, Restore/Reset Benchmarks & Monuments, Water Pollution Control Plan, Minor Concrete (Sidewalk or Curb Ramp, Driveway, Colored & Stamped, Cross Gutter, Vertical Curb, Curb & Gutter, Detectable Warning System, Design Build Curb Ramps, Remove Storm Drain Structure, Remove and Replace Storm Drain Pipe with PVC, Remove and Replace Storm Drain Pipe with RCP, Repair CMP Squash Pipe, Install Storm Drain Inlet, Adjust Storm Drain Grate to Grade, Adjust Utility Box and Cover to Grade, Adjust Water Valve Box Frame and Cover to Grade, Hot Mix Asphalt, Pavement Markings, Relocate Roadside Signs to new post, Supplemental Work, Villa Oak Storm Drainage System, Olivine Trail stormwater Ditch, and All Material Suppliers.

A 100% payment bond and performance bond will be required. Vanguard will pay bond premium up to 2%. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractors license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owners requirements and will be required to sign the standard FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. subcontract agreement.
