Project Description: This Request for Bids (“RFB”) involves all necessary labor, tools, equipment, material, and services to construct new continuous grit removal systems at four (4) existing Aerated Grit Chambers and miscellaneous upgrades and repairs to the Headworks Valve Chamber, Influent Channels, Effluent Channel, and Grit Chamber Control Building. This work consists of installing a center bridge platform, hydraulically actuated screw conveyors, grit slurry pumping system, and grit classifiers; the construction of a new Grit Washing Building; concrete repairs; process air blower replacement; utilities replacement and relocation; coating piping and equipment; installing FRP tank covers and odor control systems; and electrical and instrumentation integration for new equipment.
