Hensel Phelps will be seeking bid proposals from PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS FOR THE FOLLOWING BID PACKAGE:

For the SMUD Folsom Administrative Operations Building (FAOB) Project located in Folsom, California
If interested in this Bid Package, prospective Bidders are to contact Jose A Martinez with Hensel Phelps via email (provided below). Interested Bidders must fill out a Confidentiality and Non-disclosure Agreement (CNDA) prior to obtaining access to the Bid Package Documents. CNDA forms must be submitted to Hensel Phelps Construction Co. (Attn: Jose A Martinez, jmartinez@henselphelps.com). Once an executed CNDA document is received, Hensel Phelps will send a bid invite via BuildingConnected to the interested bidder for access to the Bid Documents.
Plans, specifications, and any other pertinent bidding documents will be available electronically on the Building Connected Website as early as the week of May 12, 2025.
This Design-Build Folsom Administrative Operations Building (FAOB) Project encompasses the design and construction of a state-of-the-art facility situated within the Sacramento Municipal Utility District’s (SMUD) territory. Spanning an expansive and secure 6-acre site, enclosed by a perimeter security fence, this facility will serve as a vital cornerstone in meeting SMUD's operational needs and ensuring the reliability of utility services.
Key elements of the facility include a single-story office building spanning approximately 47,000 square feet. This encompasses essential office spaces, a cutting-edge control center, shared training rooms, and support areas. An approximately 100-foot-high microwave transmission tower, standby generators, parking facilities, and landscaping enhance the site's functionality and aesthetics.
This Project is subject to a Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) and has Supplier Education & Economic Development (SEED) Program SBE goals.
100% Payment and Performance Bonds are required for amounts over $100,000. Workers’ Compensation and Waiver of Subrogation will be required of all Subcontractors.
