FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from all certified DBE firms for the following items of work including but not limited to: Traffic Control, Water Pollution Control, Construction Staking & Monument Preservation, Clear & Grub, Remove Existing AC Pavement, Remove Existing Concrete, Remove Existing Agg Base, Remove Existing Striping & Markings, Abandon Storm Drainpipe, Remove Existing Storm Drainpipe, Remove Existing Drain Inlet, Remove Roadside Sign, Remove Existing Tree, Adjust Utility Box to New Grade, Adjust Traffic Signal Box to New Grade, Adjust Storm Drain Maintenance Hole Rim, Adjust Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Hole Rim, Adjust Sanitary Sewer Lamp Hole Rim, Remove & Reinstall Keystone Wall, Relocate RRFB, Relocate Roadside Sign, Relocate Bus Stop Sign, Relocate Mailbox, Asphalt Concrete, Class II AB, Minor Concrete (Vertical Curb & Gutter, Rolled C&G, Vertical Curb, Sidewalk, Driveway), Roadway Excavation, Export of Soils, Striping & Markings, Roadside Signs, Pedestrian Barricade, Under Sidewalk Drain, DIP SD Pipe, RCP SD Pipe, Type 1 Curb Inlet, Junction Box, Connect to Existing Storm Drainpipe or Structure, Shallow Maintenance Hole, Type 1 Maintenance Hole, Storm Drain Message, Storm Drain Inlet, Type 2 Curb Inlet, and All Material Suppliers.

A 100% payment bond and performance bond will be required. Vanguard will pay bond premium up to 2%. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractors license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owners requirements and will be required to sign the standard FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. subcontract agreement. Plans and specifications are available to be viewed in our office located at 550 Greenville Road, Livermore, Ca 94550 between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment or you can send a request for this project and we will send you the specs/plans.
