The District's existing pipeline on Moosehead Drive and Winfield Way in Aptos is aging and undersized. The subject project will replace two-, three- and four-inch steel and asbestos cement pipe with six-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe.

The project includes:
• 2,420 LF of 6" PVC pipeline which will replace the existing two-, three- and four-inch pipelines
• Replacement of 65 existing water services
• Tie-ins to existing water mains at 4 locations
• Installation of 2 permanent blow-off assembly and 3 air/vacuum valves
• Associated testing and inspection
• Pavement restoration including Cal Trans type II micro surfacing
