We are actively seeking certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) to provide quotes for subcontracting, materials, Bridge construction and removals, Cast-in-drilled-hole concrete piles, Structural concrete (bridge and approach slab), Roadway excavation and aggregate base, Hot Mix Asphalt and RHMA, Concrete barriers (Type 732SW Mod, Type 842, Type 60M), Chain link fence and gates, Drainage systems, catch basins, RSP, storm drain cleanouts, Electrical and bridge lighting, SWPPP and Water Pollution Control, Traffic control, striping, signage, including labor, materials, trucking, equipment rental, traffic control, fencing, electrical, striping, SWPPP, concrete, asphalt paving, demolition, and related scopes.
Subcontractors interested in participating in the Rock Springs Road Bridge over the Mojave River project must meet several technical and administrative requirements. While union membership is not explicitly required, all subcontractors must be properly licensed in the State of California and registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) prior to contract award. They must also remain in good standing throughout the duration of their work on the project. Insurance coverage in accordance with the general contractor's requirements must be provided by all subcontractors. This typically includes general liability, workers' compensation, and automobile liability coverage. Proof of coverage must be submitted prior to commencement of any work.
Bonding may not be mandatory for every subcontractor, but those performing substantial scopes of work or those requested by the general contractor to bond their portion must be able to provide performance and payment bonds upon request. This will depend on the value and risk level of the subcontracted work.

Interested parties must register on the ePro platform at https://epro.sbcounty.gov in order to access the full set of documents. Once registered, users can locate the Rock Springs Road Bridge project by searching for Work Order H15087 or using the project title. Addenda, proposal forms, and any updates will also be posted on this platform. It is the responsibility of all subcontractors and suppliers to monitor ePro regularly for revisions or clarifications issued prior to bid submission.
