This work consists of removing existing asphaltic concrete pavement to improve the ride characteristic
or to lower the finished surface adjacent to existing curb prior to resurfacing.

Rockland County will designate the milled asphalt stockpiling site within the County. Transporting of
the milled asphalt pavement to the designated stockpiling area will be the responsibility of the
Contractor. The cost of transporting the milled asphalt is to be included in the price bid for the Cold
Milling Operations.
