The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to provide upfitting for a Bell 407 GXi Helicopter previously purchased by the Rockland County Sheriff's Office. The new Helicopter has an anticipated delivery date of 1/1/2026. The Helicopter will be used in emergency operations in Rockland County by the Rockland County Sheriff's Office. It is anticipated that this RFP may result in a contract award to "a single contractor". The helicopter will be FAA certified as a normal category helicopter, and all accessories (including avionics and mission equipment) will be installed to meet mission specifications.
