Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license and comply with all California registration requirements. All subcontractors are required to obtain a Department of Industrial Relations registration number and provide the number to RMC at bid time with their quote. Subcontractors must have worker's compensation and insurance coverage at limits acceptable to RMC during the length of the prime contract and include Waiver of Subrogation to RMC on insurance policies. RMC may require subcontractors to provide 100% performance and payment bonding for their value of work. If required by RMC, we will reimburse bonding costs up to 1.5% of the total subcontract value.
