The Project generally consists of relocation of County of San Bernardino Special Districts waterline, site grading for relocation of Southern California Edison tubular steel pole, rehabilitation of Bear Valley Road Bridge over the Mojave River, retaining wall construction, curb and gutter and sidewalk improvements, construction of Multi-Use path, drainage improvements, and road rehabilitation. Soliciting subs for the following trades biologist, survey and construction staking, traffic control, construction area signs, bridge repair, retaining wall construction, structure excavation and backfill, SWPP reporting, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, noise monitoring, demo, landscaping, micro-surfacing, HMA, asphalt dike, cold plane asphalt pavement, prestressing cast-in-place concrete, CIDH, shoring, precast structures, sign structure, rebar, roadside signs, drainage, RSP, fencing, minor concrete, structural minor concrete, painting, electrical, QA/QC, guardrail, barrier, pavement marking, rumble strips, waterline. Soliciting the following material suppliers, aggregates, misc. metals, concrete, drainpipe, water pipe, traffic control items, precast structures, precast pipe, erosion control, on and off-site trucking.
Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking certified and qualified DBE subcontractors and suppliers to meet the 22% goal.

Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to break down items into feasible economical packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum DBE participation.
Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values. Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item.
