This project involves the installation of a new 13 kV feeder from Distribution Transformer Bank #2 at the Port Jefferson Substation. The project is part of a Capacity & Reliability (C&R) initiative to address N-1 contingency loss of Stony Brook Circuit 8MR-907, which currently results in a 115% emergency overload with 43 exposure hours on Port Jefferson Circuit 8F-705. The primary cable, 3-2/C 750CU EPR, will be installed within a manhole and conduit system, including two spare conduits. Additionally, two new LBD riser poles and two new ACRV switches will be installed.
