We are seeking DVBE proposals from trades such as, demo, concrete, rebar, masonry, structural & misc steel, casework, insulation, roofing, paint, windows, doors & frames, flooring, sealants, drywall, carpentry, drywall, plaster, tile, acoustical panels, flooring, bathroom accesories, shades, wheelchair lifts, fire sprinklers, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, earthwork, utilities, paving, fence & gates, landscaping

THE PROPOSED PROJECT INCLUDES:
- DEMOLITION OF THE EXISTING MUSIC BUILDING
- PARTIAL DEMOLITION OF THE EXISTING THEATER (DRAMA LAB)
- CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW MUSIC BUILDING
- CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITION TO THE EXISTING THEATER
- COMPLETE AND MANDATORY LATERAL SYSTEM REHABILITATION
AND GENERAL ALTERATIONS TO THE EXISTING THEATER
- REH REPORT FOR MANDATORY REHABILITATION OF THE THEATER
BUILDING HAS BEEN APPROVED BY DSA. DSA APP: 01-120268
- THE EXISTING THEATER AND ADDITION ARE CONSTRUCTED USING:
TYPE V-B
- THE NEW MUSIC BUILDING IS CONSTRUCTED USING:
TYPE V-B
- THE EXISTING THEATER AND ADDITION WILL BE FULLY SPRINKLED
AS PART OF THIS PROJECT
- THE NEW MUSIC BUILDING WILL BE FULLY SPRINKLED
- SITEWORK, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DEMOLITION,
HARDSCAPE, SOFTSCAPE/LANDSCAPE AND SUBGRADE

Payment/Performance Bonds may be required as a condition of the contract. All subcontractors/vendors awarded work on this project must be able to furnish subcontract performance and payment bonds, for the amount of the subcontract bid, issued by an admitted corporate surety acceptable to our company (if required). ZCI is signatory to the Carpenters, Drywallers, & Laborers Unions. Subcontractors will be required to execute Zovich Construction's standard subcontract agreement and comply with our general insurance requirements. All subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) & properly licensed to perform work in the State of CA. It is the subcontractor's responsibility to review the Owner's General and Special Conditions for this project, as they will be binding. ZCI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
