Remove all existing window trim, fascia and other
exterior wood trim to be replaced with new fiber
cement trim. Include new flashing as required for this
work.
2. Include in base bid $15,000 allowance to
remove/repair areas of dry-rot on existing T-11 siding
as as required to provide backing for new fiber
cement siding.
3. Install fiber cement T-11 siding and new fiber
cement trim to match the existing at all exterior walls.
Include new flashing as required to achieve
waterproof system. Include new closure panels
between buildings.
4. At all new flashing, siding, trim, provide caulking
as required for watertight installation.
5. At all siding, contractor to protect and reattach as
required electrical wiring and conduits when doing
siding work. Include any testing required to do this
work.
7. Provide exterior painting for all exterior finishes.
Painting for all buildings will include a minimum of
three (3) colors colors for the following: Wall
Base/Soffit, Door/Frames/Window Trim/Gutter/Edge
Metal, Fascia/Skirting/Benches/RWL. Include
painting of all conduits, boxes and piping from finish
grade to first junction above roof.
8. Paint exterior doors and frames inside and outside
to match
9. Provide new door room identification signage on
exterior at all (6) classroom doors per detail 1/A1.0.
10. Contractor to protect all storefront and aluminum
windows in place. No painting of these systems to
occur.
11. Provide (6) new exterior lights at exterior doors
with RAB BRISK17FA20 light.
12. Protect in place all mechanical/electrical
equipment and site finishes adjacent to structures as
required.
13. Protect in place all (6) sets of exterior ramps.
Touch up paint handrails as required and repaint
ramp skirting & benches to match new color scheme.
14. Include in base bid a $5,000 door hardware
replacement allowance to be utilized as directed by
District
