Tahoe City Public Utility District - Madden Creek Water System Improvement Project, PH 4, Homewood, CA. The work to be performed for this project consists of all labor, material, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to construct approximately 7,725 total linear feet of water main installed via open cut (comprised of sizes 4", 6", 8", and 12" diameters of varying footages), approximately 450 +/- linear feet of 14" diameter water main installed via Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) to accomplish a creek under crossing, mainline valves & fittings, mainline connections to existing, 15 fire hydrants, 78 water services & meter assemblies, service connections to existing customer side, air release valves, blowoff valves, surface restoration, and all associated items to complete the project in Placer County right-of-way or TCPUD easements as shown on the construction drawings. Vinciguerra Construction, Inc. is seeking quotes for all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE, UDBE, WBE, MBE, SBE Firms for the following items of work included but not limited to: HDD Drilling, Erosion Control/Revegetation Materials furnish & placement, Surveying, SWPPP, Dewatering, Waterworks Supplies & Appurtenances (Water Main Piping, Pipe Fitting's, Gate Valves, Valve Boxes, Fire Hydrants, and Water Service Valves), Sheeting, Shoring, & Bracing, Traffic Control, Construction Area Signs, Excavation/Earth Work, Sawcutting, Asphalt Milling, Asphalt Concrete; furnish & placement, Aggregate Base; furnish & placement, Import Soil; furnish & Placement, Concrete; furnish & placement, Pavement Striping, and Trucking. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation is encouraged. Our firm will consider dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by DBE's in the competitive process. Our company will also consider consortium of DBE's should a contract be too large for firms to handle individually.
