Upgrading cathodic protection systems for select underground electrical circuits. For Circuit 138-673/674AB - replace an existing battery-based system with a new Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) system. Circuit 138-675/676 involves the install. of (1) 200' deep weel ground beds. Key activities include deep-well drilling, installation of MMO tubular anodes, mounting an air-cooled rectifier on LIPA #15, implementing surge protection with Isolation Surge Protection (ISP) devices, and running DC and positive header cables via trenching.
