We are seeking General Contractors (Class A) and subcontractors/suppliers to install approximately 8,700 linear feet of 16" diameter ductile iron water pipe, 500 linear feet of 12" and 8" diameter water pipe, three pressure reducing valve stations, eleven fire hydrants, five water main tie-ins, abandonment of existing water facilities, site restoration, and asphalt concrete paving. We are seeking underground mechanical contractors, mechanical/piping suppliers, traffic control, erosion control, and asphalt subcontractors. The project site is located in an unincorporated area of El Dorado County, near the City of South Lake Tahoe. The work is within the ROW of a very active roadway; work will require full time traffic control and will be subjected restricted work hours. The project is expected to occur between July and October 2026. The project is being funded in part by a grant from the EPA's Community Grants Program, a grant from the USDA Forest Service under the authority of the Lake Tahoe Restoration Act, and a California Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan. We are seeking participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).
