Jett Industries, Inc. (Jett - Contractor) is assembling a bid for the
RCSD#1 - Sludge Dewatering Project- Owner Rockland County Sewer District #1 and extends this request for Quotes (RFQ) to all firms (Bidders) to provide labor, materials, and /or equipment for the Project as described in these packages

1. Mobilization.
2. Demolition of existing dewatering equipment including centrifuges and appurtenances.
3. Demolition of the dewatering building roof and raising of the building with a new roof structure.
4. Temporary dewatering of sludge during modifications to the dewatering building.
5. Structural and architectural improvements to the building.
6. Installation of three (3) new dewatering screw presses and appurtenances.
7. Installation of five (5) sludge feed pumps, piping and appurtenances.
8. Installation of five (5) in-line sludge grinders, piping and appurtenances.
9. Installation of five (5) polymer blending systems, piping and appurtenances.
10. Installation of chemical feed pumps, piping and appurtenances.
11. Installation of four (4) sludge storage tank submersible mixers and appurtenances.
12. Heating and Ventilating modifications to the dewatering building.
13. Electrical modifications to the dewatering building.
14. Plumbing modifications to the dewatering building.
15. Cleanup and demobilization.

The Bidder will be required to quote in compliance with all project plans and specifications. Non-Disclosure Agreements are provided when applicable. Addenda is posted and notification is sent to all invited bidders.

Insurance Requirements
Upon award, Subcontractors must provide insurance in accordance with our subcontract agreement. A copy of the subcontractor agreement can be found in Building Connected Project Plan Room.

Bonding Requirements
For subcontracts the Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds equal to the full subcontract price. For Material Contracts, the bidder shall furnish Supply Bonds in amount equal to full Material Contract price. Bond premiums are reimbursable by Kiewit/Mass. Electric Construction Co. Jett Industries Inc.
Please provide current bond rate with Quote/Proposal or advise if you are unable to bond so that we my address this issue.
