Project Description: This project includes Taxilane Rehabilitation at Salinas Municipal Airport, with work focused on improving pavement conditions serving multiple hangar areas. The Base Bid includes reconstruction of the taxilane adjacent to Hangars R and K. Additive alternatives include reconstruction of the taxilane adjacent to Hangar L; reconstruction and mill-and-fill improvements adjacent to Hangars K and L; reconstruction and mill-and-fill improvements adjacent to Hangar O; reconstruction of the taxilane adjacent to Hangar Q; and mill-and-fill improvements of the taxilanes adjacent to Hangars S and T. Overall, the work generally consists of pavement removal, reconstruction, milling, asphalt placement, grading, and related construction activities necessary to restore safe and functional aircraft access within the affected taxilane areas.

Items for the project include, but are not limited to:
Subcontractors / Suppliers: SWPPP, survey and steaking, excavation, signage, trenching, aggregate base, asphalt pavement, concrete paving, disinfection of water distribution systems, pavement markings, traffic control, hydroseeding, trucking.

Anderson Pacific Engineering Construction, Inc. is requesting subcontractor and material supply quotes from qualified and certified Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise firms for Salinas Municipal Airport Improvements, FAA AIP No. 03-06-0206-37, City of Salinas, bidding on July 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

The Project may be funded in whole or part by the 49 CFR Part 26, U.S Department of Transportation, which requires compliance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates and FAA Buy America requirements.
