Dynamo Construction is seeking quotes from certified SBE and DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the Robert I. Schroder Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation Project (No. 7486-6X5240) in Walnut Creek, CA. Subcontracting opportunities include but are not limited to traffic control, including approximately four nighttime closures of Treat Boulevard with detour setup, flagging, and signage; abrasive blasting and protective coating of rusted and paint chipped steel surfaces; and concrete repair at sidewalks, curbs, and bridge elements. Quotes may be broken into economically feasible packages, and Dynamo Construction will assist interested firms with obtaining plans, bonding, lines of credit, and insurance. All quotes will be considered and negotiated in good faith.
Contract plans, specifications, and addenda for Project No. 7486-6X5240 may be downloaded from the Contra Costa County Planroom at www.cccplanroom.com, or by contacting Dynamo Construction for the plan sheets and specification sections relevant to your scope. This is a public works project subject to California prevailing wage; all subcontractors must hold a current California contractors license, be registered with the DIR per Labor Code 1725.5, and submit certified payroll. Subcontractors must carry general liability, auto, and workers compensation insurance per contract requirements. Union membership is not necessarily required. Bonds may be requested for larger subcontracts, and Dynamo Construction will assist firms with obtaining bonding, lines of credit, and insurance.
