Resource Environmental Services is seeking Community Business Enterprises (CBE) for the Martin Luther King, JR. Medical Campus Augustus F. Hawkins Building Demolition Project. CBE's are defined as Minority, Women, Disadvantage, Disabled Veteran, Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender/Queer/and Questions owned Business Enterprises (M/W/D/DVBE/LGBTQQ). This project includes a 25% CBE participation goal. This project is also subject to Countywide Community Workforce Agreement (CWA).

The general scope of work includes abatement of hazardous materials and demolition of the existing three-story hospital. Possible subcontracting trades include earthwork, fencing, landscaping, SWPPP/erosion Control, surveying, trucking, construction material, and rental equipment.

REI is a union company and is signatory to laborers. Bonds may be required from all subcontractors with proposals exceeding $100,000. Please provide bond rate with proposal.
