We are seeking quotes for the following categories: selective demolition, rough carpentry and exterior sheathing, weather barrier installation, fiber cement siding installation, fiber cement trim installation, joint sealants and caulking, vinyl window installation, fiberglass sliding glass door installation, and exterior painting. The project consists of a complete exterior envelope replacement of an existing 6 unit two story residential building at 224 West Ortega Street in Santa Barbara.
Scope includes removal of existing cedar lap siding and painted wood trim, new exterior sheathing, new James Hardie fiber cement siding and trim, replacement of 41 aluminum windows with vinyl windows, replacement of 6 aluminum sliding doors with fiberglass sliding doors, and full exterior painting. This project carries an MBE and WBE participation goal of 20 percent, consisting of 18 percent MBE and 2 percent WBE of total contract value, and we welcome quotes from certified MBE and WBE firms in the categories listed above.

Subcontractors must hold an active California Contractors State License Board license in the appropriate classification, with license number provided with the quote. Active registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations is required, and certified payroll must be submitted weekly. California State Prevailing Wage applies to all work on this contract per the Santa Barbara County residential determinations.
