The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (District) is releasing this Request For Proposals (RFP) to solicit bids from qualified entities to assist the District in conducting the Sacramento region's annual Spare The Air public education and outreach campaign. The District is seeking a Contractor experienced in coordinating and implementing a large environmental public education and outreach campaign, including advertising. Environmental or public sector campaign experience is helpful but not required. The successful Respondent will work with District staff in the development and implementation of all aspects of the Spare The Air campaign, which runs annually from May - October. Please see Attachment #1, "Scope of Services" in the RFP for additional information on services required and the Sample Contract in Public Purchase for sample contract terms and conditions.

All responses to this RFP must be submitted electronically using Public Purchase by: 5:00 p.m. PST on Friday, November 6, 2026. All respondents must be registered vendors using Public Purchase, the District's web-based e-Procurement system, in order to submit a proposal.
