Project Description: Installation of approximately 1,167 LF of 36" reinforced concrete gravity pipe and 76 LF of HDPE gravity pipe from Highland Ave Northeast Launching Shaft site to the Charles River via Brook Road, Arlington Road & Charles Street. This includes the installation of 112 LF of 36" reinforced concrete gravity pipe and associated steel casing pipe using trenchless methods. Construction of launching and retrieving pits for installation of pipeline using trenchless methods. Construction of an outfall and stone bed in the Charles River. Provide temporary support of excavation and dewatering for all work and a temporary coffer dam to construct the drain outfall at Charles River. Furnishing, installation and monitoring and reporting of geotechnical instruments for adajcent buildings, structures, roadways, and facilities. Preconstruction and post construction conditional surveys for adajcent buildings, structures roadways, and facilities. Furnishing and installing an inlet structure, drain manholes and chambers and all appurtenant work. Relocation or replacement of utilities. Removal and disposal of asbestos pipe. Excavation, backfilling, removal, handling, transportation & disposal of excavated materials and groundwater along the pipeline route. Restoration of all disturbed areas and utilities impacted by the Work. Milling and overlay of existing pavement in all areas.
