Through the Targeted Group/Economically Disadvantaged (TG/ED) Small Business Procurement Program, certified companies can receive bid preferences and can be eligible for TG/ED subcontractor set-asides.

Also, all TG and ED firms are included in the Directory of Certified TG/ED Vendors, which is used by prime contractors and procurement officials across the state to identify certified companies.

Does this program require bidders attempt to make a good-faith effort to meet participation goals? Goals on certain projects may be set which require bidders to attain a certain percentage of TG/ED participation.
