Small Business Certifications for Government Contracting

California Capital APEX Accelerator is hosting a free online webinar on the various certifications available to small businesses who are hoping to gain an edge in public contracting. Certifications covered will include federal certifications available through the U.S. Small Business Administration (such as the 8(a) program, the HUBZone program, the woman-owned small business or WOSB program, the service-disabled veteran-owned small business or SDVOSB program), the California Department of General Services (such as the small business or SBE and disabled-veteran-owned business or DVBE certifications), and others, including those offered by municipal entities, third parties, and more. Attendees will learn about how these certifications can aid you when competing for government contracts and how to apply for them.
