HUBZone Certification Overview

Norcal APEX Accelerator is hosting a free Zoom webinar on the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (or HUBZone) certification program that is offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The certification program is for businesses located in specific defined areas that have not historically been the recipient of much federal contract dollars (such as many areas in rural northern California). The webinar will run down how getting HUBZone-certified can aid you in competing for government contracts due to various set-aside programs on small contracts, general HUBZone-specific federal contracting goals, and more. Information on successfully applying for the HUBZone program will be presented by subject matter experts.
