New York MWBE Certification for New Jersey Businesses

The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) APEX Accelerator is hosting an online webinar for New Jersey businesses interested in being certified as a minority- or woman-owned business (MWBE) by the State of New York. Getting certified to be considered in MWBE in New York as well as New Jersey can open vital doors to competing in the government procurement arena, as the State of New York recently achieved a 32.21 MWBE utilization rate in state contracting in the previous fiscal year. The workshop will provide more information about eligiblity requirements and the necessary steps to take to get certified.
