Maryland DOT - Certification Application Assistance

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) hosts a periodic webinar providing application assistance for businesses interested in becoming MDOT-certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE), or Small Business Enterprise (SBE), or any combination of the above. The webinar is hosted by the Office of Small and Minority Business Policy (OSMBP) within MDOT. The webinar is free although registration is required. A subject matter expert will run down the benefits of getting certified when it comes to competing for government contracts, the eligibility criteria, the application process, and more, including business development and market research tips.
