The following is a general description of the work to be done under this Contract and it is not a complete listing of all work to be done.
• Remove existing bridge.
• Provide off-site detour for truck traffic with appropriate signage.
• Provide work zone traffic control (WZTC).
• Provide temporary traffic signals for the staged construction and various WZTC layouts.
• Construct a new bridge that meets the 16'-6" minimum vertical clearance.
• Repair the existing abutments to remain in place to address deterioration.
• Reconstruct approach roadways.
• Install pedestrian appurtenances on bridge sidewalks, and adjacent "Pocket Park"
• Install permanent traffic signals, drainage structures and lighting.
• Relocate existing 48" storm drainpipe.
Goals:
MBE - 8%; WBE - 8%; SDVOB - 3%

Duration: Completed by June 30, 2025

If your company is certified as MBE/WBESDVOB, please send us a copy of MBE/WBE/SDVOB Certificate*.
* Certificates must be current at the bid time and remain current for the duration of the project.

All proposals must reference item numbers and broken out as requested by NYSTA.

Buy America requirements apply on this Project.

Subcontractors will not be approved by the New York State Thruway Authority until such time as they are registered with the New York State Department of State.
