D.A. Collins Construction Co., Inc. (DAC) welcomes quotes from all qualified subcontractors, services, material suppliers, and trucking firms for complete or portions of the work for all phases.

The work includes but is not limited to; construction of a pedestrian bridge that will connect the SUNY Brockport campus to the Empire State Trail over Erie Canal. The bridge consists of an approximately 600ft long structure with a 90ft clear spanning steel curved box girder bridge over Erie Canal, with foundations, substructure, superstructure, decking, bearings, joints, railings and other finishes, as shown in the plans and detailed in the specifications. Construction of sitework at the bridge landings, including erosion and sediment control site clearing, stormwater management systems, grading, pathways, electric, lighting, security for bridge and site, commissioning, and integration of systems into the existing network, site restoration, landscaping and plantings, pedestrian amenities, and all ancillary components and appurtenances, as shown in the plans and required by the specifications.

DAC is bidding as a prime contractor on the Pedestrian Bridge at Brockport Guard Gate to the New York Power Authority on November 2nd at 4:00 PM. DAC is actively seeking and encouraging Certified New York Minority Owned, Women Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses, as well as any other interested subcontractors and/or suppliers, to submit quotes on this project.
